Cranes Roost Park (Uptown Altamonte)
A lakeside centerpiece with a one-mile walkway, amphitheater, and the crowd-pleasing choreographed fountain show. The park hosts festivals and seasonal events that draw big family turnouts. Tip: arrive near sunset for an easy stroll and the evening fountain show.

Lake Lotus Park
Altamonte’s nature preserve: shaded trails, a raised boardwalk, picnic pavilions, playgrounds, and “Window on the Lake” viewing areas. It’s calm, stroller-friendly in many sections, and a nice change of pace from the urban core. Note: open Thu–Sun, 8:30 a.m.–5:30 p.m.; closed Mon–Wed.

Westmonte Recreation Center (Outdoor Pool & Play)
A community favorite for kids: heated outdoor pool with zero-depth entry and interactive water features, lap lanes, shade canopies, plus adjacent courts and a playground. Check the city schedule for open swim and classes.
